Draenei

The Draenei are a group of noble Eredar who fled their own native world of Argus. Living in Azuremyst Isles around the west coast of Kalimdor, they have now joined the Alliance in the Burning Crusade expansion. The Exodar is their capital city.

Like the Blood Elves of the Horde, the Draenei are as well one of the two new playable races in World of Warcraft (The Burning Crusade expansion). As a new proud member of the Alliance, the Draenei race has the ability to excel in being a Warrior, Paladin, Hunter, Priest, Shaman or Mage. Due to highly effective healing abilities, the Draenei, who proudly call themselves firm believers in light, are the survivors and much of the questing invariably revolves around healing other people. Their spying and assassin abilities are effective to shadowmeld at all times of the day or even while moving.

The Blood Elves are a new WoW race consisting of ex-High Elves who managed to rename themselves to honor their innocent people that were brutally slain during the invasion of Quel’ Thalas by the Scourge in the Third War. The Blood Elves of Azeroth have decided to be part of the Horde in The Burning Crusade expansion in order to seek all possible ways to reunite with Prince Kael’thas Sunstrider in Outland. The Blood Elves are one of the two new playable races introduced in World of Warcraft (The Burning Crusade expansion).

Having been crowded with a host of ghastly and monster-like characters, the long-awaited arrival of the Blood Elves means the formidable Horde faction finally have an attractive female race to play with. Concurrently, their maiden appearance in WoW also provides players with a great chance to jump into the expansion by allowing them to closely explore the Blood Elf’s starting location called Sunstrider Isle. The Blood Elves, whose homeland lies in Silvermoon City, are typically noted for their complete addiction to magic and mana usage which are later extended into both their abilities and some of their quest as well.

On top of that they are well-versed in all of their other abilities to slay sworn enemies during hard-fought battles. These unmatched abilities and talent rooting from racial traits are comprised of Arcane Affinity, Arcane Torrent, Magic Resistance and Mana Tap. For Blood Elves, everything works extremely well in dealing massive damage and handling with a wide stream of perilous adversaries, for instance, Arcane Torrent proves very effective in silencing all foes within 8 yards for 2 sec, while Mana Tap offers its helping hands to decrease target’s mana by 51 and charges you with Arcane energy for 10 min.

Orc

The most brutal and feared WoW race is the truly savage and green-skinned Orcs, who are widely regarded as an influential member of the Horde faction in the World of Warcraft. They are also considered to be one of the most prolific races of the World of Azeroth. With their incessant obsession with mercilessly killing sworn enemies, many people believe them to be emotionless and brutal killing machines, offering no humanity or empathy to all other races.

The Orcs originally originated from the Land of Draenor, but the Dark Portal somehow guide them to the human kingdom of Stormwind. Because of the truly savage nature, they fought aggressively against the humans for 3 great wars. Very few are aware of their intriguing history that in fact the Orcs did not start off as a horrific slaying machine as they are now. The Orcs originally were a race who have a penchant for peace and nobleness. Unfortunately, they were corrupted when the Burning Legion found them and made a deal with their leader.

This unavoidably compelled the Orcs to be slaves to the Burning legions Will. Following the great battle with the humans, a war mastermind named Thrall willingly helped to seek and bring Orcs back together. Due to all their leadership qualities needed, many consider the Orcs to be as the actual leaders of the horde race alliances. And the Orcs race also plays a pivotal role in WoW as they are destructive, ruthless, pugnacious, powerful and extremely redoubtable in appearance. Starting off in the home city of Durator in Ogrimmar, the Orcs are well-equipped with four racial abilities in the various forms of Blood Fury, Hardiness, Command and Axe Specialization and fully armed with lethal axes.

Night Elf

The Night Elves are one of the oldest and most clever races of the Azeroth world. Nocturnal by nature, they were the very first race to be awaken in the World of Warcraft. These shadowy Night Elves were the first ones to learn the use of magic. Nevertheless, the Night Elves made a costly mistake by their reckless use of magic and that is what attracted the Burning Legion into the world which led to a epic war between the two titanic races.

The Night Elves managed to successfully expel the evil Legion from the world, but the sea completely shattered and drowned their wondrous homeland. Following years of fierce battling, the Night Elves were able to push the Burning Legion back to their land. Owing to this catastrophic mistake, the Night Elves promised that they would never touch their magic again, closing themselves off from the remainder of the world for many thousands of years away in Mount Hyjal, while all still changes. In the promise of isolation, the Night Elves attempted to stay away from the outside world, however, during a great battle, they changed their mind to join the Alliance to help fight off evil.

The Legions invasion finally brought the Night Elves out of their long spell of reclusion. They have now renewed a very keen interest in reshaping the world, and returned to reunite with all races to ensure the continued survival of Azeroth. As the veteran of using shadow magic to attack enemies, the Night Elves set Teldrassil as their newbie area, with Darnassus their home city. Just like all other classes, the remarkably reclusive Night Elves have four racial traits including Shadowmeld, Quickness, Wisp Spirit and Nature Resistance.

As the most well known race in the Azeroth world, the human beings in WoW are a species native to the Eastern Kingdoms and are a key member of the Alliance. Famous for being the most resilient breed, they bravely fight through horrible times in all the land. Even after being almost eradicated by the Horde in the first great Orcish invasion, the humans managed to escape the genocide by the savage Orcs.

During the Second war, legions of armies of the allied Alliance rallied together to finally overcome the burning legion. This great success was not possible without the aid from all of their strong allies. The major ones comprise the Night Elves, Dwarves, and Gnomes who all are regarded as their fully dedicated allies in the Alliance. The fact that the humans do not make any remarkable progress in any one specific class is true but they are well-adept in every class.

And this is really the main reason to hugely help make them one of the strongest races in the homeland of Azeroth.

Even though they are not the best warrior comparatively to some other classes, for instance, they own the superior ability to train mages which can easily turn the tide in a battle against only warriors. Starting off in Elwynn Forest of Stormwind, the humans possess a multitude of unmatched capacities deriving from their racial traits including Perception, the human Spirit, Sword Specialization and Mace Specialization.

Gnome

Almost half of the great Gnomish race was under absolute eradication during the fall of Gnomeregan reign. The ragged Gnomes, who were fortunate enough to survive the brutal slaughter, fled to the safety of the Dwarves’ stronghold of Ironforge. Fully committed themselves once again to the Alliance’s cause, the Gnomes devote all their time inventing advanced strategies and weapons that will help them reclaim their besieged city and build a better future for their people. Widely dubbed as the most advanced technological race in World of Warcraft, the resourceful Gnomes and the former Gnomeregan dwellers, are a race of tiny humanoids who currently live with the Dwarves in Dun Morogh of Ironforge.. Much to everyone’s astonishment, the Gnomes might be diminutive in size compared to any other class, but they are generally strong and manage to compensate for their physical disadvantage by making many of their amazing breakthroughs in developing radical new technologies and constructing marvels of breathtaking engineering.

Many people had a strong belief that the Dwarves are the genius’s behind technology but the Gnomes are the ones that have actually been in charge of creating all the designs. The Dwarves only change and build what the Gnomes create based on their instructions. In addition to the peaceful Dwarves, the eccentric and sagacious Gnomes as well are allied with the human race who are the most versatile race of the Land of Azeroth. Same as any other race, their four racial traits of them include Escape Artist, Expansive Mind, Arcane Resistance and engineering Specialization.

Dwarf

Stoic by nature, the Dwarves in the Land of Azeroth are an ancient race of very powerful warriors who happily dwell underneath the snowy mountains of Khaz Modan in Ironforge. The Dwarves have always forged fast and strong allies to the humans since they began fighting the Orcs years ago and they relish in the chances of combat and storytelling as well.
In the past ages, the Dwarves had such a strong preference
to stay in their highly secure place; in other words, they barely departed the safety of their imposing mountain fortresses.

However, whenever there was a battle call ringing, they never refused a challenge and were always willing to rise up to safeguard their beloved friends and allies with unequaled mettle and valor in vanquishing all enemies who wished to invade their territory. Besides the friendly human race who have been their allies longer than any other race, another one of the great and solid allies of the Dwarves are the Gnomes a race which actually lives with the them.

The Gnomes contribute to create all the designs for the Dwarves numerous inventive stuff they utilize. The Dwarves start their location in Dun Morogh, their home city is located in Ironforge and they generally speak Dwarvish and Common. Their racial traits are also very varied in terms of advanced natural-based abilities like Stoneform, Gun Specialization, Frost Resistance and Treasure Finding.

Under the great leadership of their Banshee Queen, Sylvanas Windrunner, the race called themselves as the undead managed to break away from the tyrannical governance of the Scourge and took charge of much of the kingdom of Lordaeron which was destroyed during the Third War by the death knight Arthas Menethil or the Lich King. Currently they are tightly allied with the Horde and their capital city is situated in the Undercity beneath the ruins of the City of Lordaeron in the Tirisfal Glades.

Now dubbing themselves as a new rebel group in the name of the Forsaken, they are devoted to working under the command of their new leader the Dark Lady Sylvanas Windrunner. In an attempt to fulfill their cause against the Scourge, the undead Forsaken convinced their new allies, the Orcs, to fight against the Lich King. They, simultaneously, try very hard to retain their free will, while surmounting all enemies who stand in their path. They are also striving to build a new plague that will root out their Scourge foes as well as the remainder of civilization.

Unlike any other class in WoW, all beings of the Forsaken race could be either humans or elven descent but they have the supernatural ability to control ghosts as well. their undead condition make the undead Forsaken so special in terms of their racial abilities. Due to the ability to use Cannibalism on dead humanoids, they can fix themselves with and absorb their once-living adversaries, while they are able to breathe underwater for much longer time due to Underwater Breathing. Will of the Forsaken is also used to have the immunity to fear, sleep, and charm effects and Shadow Resistance is also available for protecting themselves from the attack of rivals.

Troll

Another extremely dangerous, powerful and savage race for the Horde faction in the vast World of Azeroth is the Trolls who are typically tall, lanky and muscular. Because of their well- documented barbaric and superstitious attitudes, they are in general recognized for using their cruelty and abhorrence against all other races in battle. The Trolls have been a rare race in the Land of Azeroth as they possess both elven and Orcish characteristics with their ferocious fangs and lengthy ears. Also their long arms, strong legs and quick reflex reactions are perfectly made for them to comfortably hunt everything they desire in their.

In common with the Forsaken group of undead, the Darkspear tribe of Trolls has become totally disconnected from the rest of their kind. Following the abrupt exile from their homeland in Stranglethorn Vale, they encountered with eradication by the Murlocs. However, with the generous help of Thrall and his race of Orcs, the Trolls were survived from the offensive Murlocs who had been menacing them for so long. Following their commander, Voljin the ShadowHunter, they now fight for the Horde’s cause and hope to fully support their oath of allegiance.

Besides their physical superiority, the Trolls also have many other special attributes when it always comes to fighting.

Only physical damage is strong enough to slay them, but they still are able to regenerate lost limbs while also heal severe physical injuries at a very speedy rate making them redoubtable adversaries on all the battlefields. Setting Durator in Ogrimmar as their starting area, the Trolls can superbly perform four of their innate racial traits such as Berserking, Regeneration, Beast Slaying and Throwing Weapon Specialization.

Tauren

The Tauren are by far the most powerful and formidable race of all in World of Warcraft. With their obviously enormous size looking absolutely threatening to many, they are cyclopean and bestial creatures who spend all their time living in the grassy, vast barrens of central Kalimdor. Dedicated to serving nature and keeping up the balance between the wild things and the restless spirit, the Tauren might be extremely large and powerful, but they have not always meant to be one of evil. Having started out as a very peaceful tribal race, they quite shut themselves and lived in Mulgore, a strong vegetation land.

The Tauren remained so peaceful in their own land but one day the Centaurs assaulted and almost eliminated them. The panic Tauren had no place left to run to but their allied Orcs and formed an alliance with them. With the Orcs helping hands, the Taurens under the guidance of their ancient chief, Cairne Bloodhoof, bounced back quickly by destroying the invasive Centaurs. Following their heated battle, the Orcs continue their alliance with the Taurens to help them fight against the alliance. Then, the brute Tauren of Camp Narache, Mulgore also cemented their tight alliance with the Orcs during the invasion of the Burning Legion and the two races have uninterruptedly continued to keep their steadfast and intimate allies ever since.

Splendidly armed with awesome destructive powers, the remarkably gigantic and imposing Tauren have now become a strong warrior race who makes a highly effective use of every ounce of their strength and energy to whip out whatever enemies standing in front of them. War Stomp, Endurance, Cultivation and Nature Resistance are four of their racial traits to help them fight for the sake of their ultimate destiny and glory.
